Let me tell you about my TimeWarner experience.

My HD service had been spotty since installation on December 29, 2007. I called the local office; they don't know what's going on. So I scheduled "technician" to come over. When the "technician" arrived, he didn't know why the HD service is spotty. So the "technician" changed the cable box. The cable box seemed to fix the issue at that moment, so the "technician" left.

Of course, the HD service became spotty again. Called the local office again;  they again don't know what's going on. I scheduled another "technician" visit. Before "technician" arrived, I played around with the cable outlet, it seemed that when I twisted the cable cord one way, the HD was fine; if I twist the cord the other way, HD went out. So I twisted the cable cord the "right" way and nailed it to the wall. I haven't had a problem since. That goes to tell you how much TimeWarner knows about their product and services. I also called the TimeWarner office to ask for compensation of the inconvenience. "We don't do that" is the response I received.

Of course, according to murphy's law, I had to have something wrong with my TimeWarner bill. It seemed that the promotion price that I thought I was getting was not applied to my bill. I also have mysterious charges applied to my account. I called the local office, they asked me to call the national number. I called the national number, they said they couldn't locate my account. I call the local office again, they transfered me to someone else. I was then transfered me again, and again, and again. During the whole ordeal, I repeated my account number & address & phone number & pin number & name of the account owner 10+ times. And no one could to explain what is happening to my bill or fix what is going on.

So the last conversation ended with "you need to pay $77.34." I bet this amount is wrong.

Internet - $29.95  TV cable - $39.95. Tax - $4.04, FCC charge - $0.06. How does that total to $77.34 again? Of course, the rep on the phone couldn't tell me.

Rest assured, when the bill comes next month, there will be another error. I will record the phone conversation this time and post it on a blog.

Wow!! That has got to be one of the greatest game of all time! Eli escaped the mad scramble, heaped it down field; David Tyree caught it during his full vertical extention, using his hand and helment while being pulled awkwardly backwards into the turf...

Big props for the defense!! They got to Brady like... 50 times?! Animals! (that's a compliment!)

Thanks goodness for the HD tv! Thanks guys for coming!! Lets do this again eh!!
